My therapeutic approach is shaped by more than fifteen years of experience as both a corporate and startup executive, along with my background in executive coaching. I work with high-achieving individuals, couples, and adolescents (14+) to address challenges such as anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, depression, and relationship struggles. I’m passionate about supporting clients through life transitions—including divorce, career changes, retirement, and the everyday challenges of modern life. My work focuses on helping people reconnect with themselves and their bodies, release patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and restore a sense of balance, trust, and ease.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned my MBA and served as a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for both startups and established organizations. I also worked as an executive coach for senior leaders and leadership teams—experiences that deeply inform my clinical work and my understanding of the unique pressures faced by high achievers. After earning my MA in Counseling from Wake Forest University, I integrated my professional experience with a trauma-informed, somatic, and human-centered approach to therapy.
I also support couples in developing greater awareness, communication, and connection with each other. Together, we work to rebuild safety and trust so that relationships can feel more grounded, resilient, and emotionally connected.
I’m especially drawn to working with high-performing individuals, couples, executives, students, athletes, and entrepreneurs who are ready to pursue authenticity and balance without losing their drive or sense of purpose. My trauma-informed practice emphasizes self-compassion and draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic mindfulness techniques to foster awareness, resilience, and gentle attunement to the body’s responses. Clients often describe our work as both calming and engaging—grounded in collaboration, honesty, and warmth.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy attending concerts and sporting events with my husband and our two college-age sons.
