Simply Together
“I am, because We are.”
Group therapy can be a powerful and valuable environment for healing and growth. It is in relationships that we are able to calm the nervous system and build capacity to hold those things that may feel overwhelming. Brené Brown tells us that the “antidote for shame is empathy” and within a group setting, we are able to hold space for others and be held in return. At Simply Being, we offer a variety of groups and workshops to help further your healing.

Sound Therapy
Sound was respected as medicine in ancient and indigenous cultures around the world. Current research supports the medicinal quality of sound for a myriad of health benefits such as: reducing stress and anxiety, increasing vitality energy, creativity and focus, reduction in depression symptoms, improved sleep, and increasing circulation.
Sound Therapy provides the opportunity to tap into the inner wisdom that the body holds and allows internal healing. As we partner with sound, our brain is able to go into a deeper meditative state as the vibrational nature of sound actually shifts the brain waves as well as the nervous system. This process eases the participant into expanded states of consciousness and relaxation.
Grounding practices, guided meditation, vocal toning and or gentle movement may be incorporated into a soundbath. Sound therapy sessions will immerse the participant in sounds from crystal singing bowls, gong, Koshi wind chimes, Biosonic tuning forks and/or other instruments to help assist the deep relaxation and healing state that is accessible through deep listening.
